Would RecommendCuts branches 2” diameter like butter! Lightweight, balanced well front to rear with 2 or 4 ah batteries. I got this as part of “buy on get one” deal they had. I bought batteries and chose this saw, I totally recommend this tool for around the house work.

Would Not Recommendthis is my second of this model. first one last a couple years before catching fire. thought it was a fluke but this one caught fire before the end of the first battery. side note: one of the v20 weedwackers also caught fire about a week ago. all use was standard with official batteries.

Would Not RecommendWorked great in the beginning. Out of warranty now and it started smoking and smelling burning. Support for repairs was very poor. Will look at a Dewalt now. I own many many Craftsman products but disappointed here.

Would Not RecommendUsed the unit twice. It throws the blades out. Has poor power. I have several other like units, Dewalt, etc. Craftsman cant hold a candle. I bought it because I was only going to use it sparingly. Don't waste your money. Also, you can't repair the unit. Mine went right to trash.
