Ok design. Bits don't fit in handle

I have the Lowes 14-in-1 which is a little older and has the same issue: bits don't fit in the handle. I hoped this one may not have that issue, as otherwise I've enjoyed using the tool. Alas, the bits don't fit in the handle. Instead of an easy and compact tool to port around, I have the screwdriver and a set of bits to pay attention to.

Bit storage does not fit bits.

The handle storage on the screwdriver is not big enough to fit bits. It’s about 1/4 to small. I have no idea why they would have storage handle unless it’s to hold the spare bits.

Bits don't fit

The package states that it has 'in handle storage' which is the specific reason I bought it (to replace a similar one). However, as other reviews say, the bits don't fit in the handle. Guess I'm making another trip to lowes to return it and pick up a replacement Kobalt version that I know the bits fit in.

Good quality steel

I used this to remove very small screws from a fan assembly that was going bad on a video card. Fortunatly this product was complete with very small bits that fit the philips screws well.

No storage in handle - labeling is false

Packaging states "in handle bit storage". This is false. There is no such storage and the cap does not come of the base of the handle.

I did not purchase this item nor did any member of my family.

Worked for my 3DS XL

I’ve needed a small electronics screw driver and this one worked to get in the back of my 3ds xl so I could play it again.

No, there’s not in-handle storage.. Waste

Simply put, there is no in storage handle as advertised. The main reason I purchased this was for the storage option. The provided bits are too long to com close to fitting so you have to put those someplace where they won’t get lost. Plus, the provided bits are about 3” long which makes this tool ergonomically difficult to use on small projects it is meant for. I’d take it back but the package has been destroyed in the opening process. It’s a wasted purchase.

Needed for Hard Drive Salvage

Our old iMac with a ton of pictures on it died. After watching some videos I decided to try to get the hard drive out. This tool was perfect for the task. Craftsman so you know it’s high quality.

Great (early) Christmas present

Love the quick release bits and unlike other designs of quick change bits, they do not fall out.

No, the bits do not fit in the handle.

I bought this specifically because the bits are supposed to fit into the handle as it states on the packaging, but they're not even close to fitting. Even if the depth were sufficient for these long bits to fit into the handle they wouldn't all fit anyway because the diameter of the cavity in the handle wouldn't accommodate all the bits.

The metal bit twisted while trying to extract the screw. Chinese garbage not fit for human consumption. Don't waste your money or time. There was a time when Craftsman stood for superior products. Sadly, not any more.

Fix the packaging printing! Bits do NOT fit!

Packaging states "IN HANDLE BIT STORAGE" but you can only store the one short bit, the three double-ended bits are longer and if put in the handle you can't close the cap. I was hoping this would be a nice, compact item for travel, but the three double ended bits will get lost. I specifically looked for "in-handle bit storage" and chose this item after reading that on the back of the package.
