Would RecommendNo surprise, generator this size makes noise. The wheels make it is easy to be moved. It met the need when our power went out. Starting was as easy as my mower. Electric start would have been nice though. And perhaps the version that uses optional fuels. Seems to built well.

Not telling you your buying a returned item
Would Not RecommendDo not buy generators from lowes. Thieves are buying and replacing generators with miscellaneous items. Lowes does not check and def does not tell the consumer the item is a return!!!! Great. But then lowes will not replace or refund you. So you the consumer gets to pay for their incompetence!! I know can't be real. But unfortunately it's true. If you can eat $700-$1600 loss or feel like donating to lowes go ahead. Just wanted to warn consumers.

Had to pull an extra time or 2 to get it to start, but worked efficiently during the snow storm. Handled everything we hooked up to it. It was a little loud, but that can be overlooked since it kept us functional

Would Not RecommendWas happy when first purchased but the first warning came trying to find a spare plug. The number in the manual is a Craftsman number and customer service was useless. It's a Torch F6RTC. Then it wouldn't start. You have to ship it to an authorized repair shop at your expense so I did it myself. Turns out the intake value rocker arm was loose and flopping around. Fixed that, but then wouldn't start again. Turns out the power switch went bad and fixed that myself again. You're better off...
