Would Not RecommendThe time for which I prowdly owned Craftsman tools past long ago. Before moving their manufacturing to China, they made what was arguably the beat retriever magnet available. The stem was longer, thicker, and far more durable. While the magnet was vastly more powerful. Also, work on your app Lowe’s.

Other than that, the item is a must have for any tool box. It works as it should in picking up metal parts and objects a magnet would up to 2-lbs. The bright red rubberized handle makes it easy to see and grip. It has a metal clip to keep it in a shirt pocket or collar.
