Great Tool

Great tool to get things that have fallen behind wall or inside engine.

Less bending over!

Waited a long time to purchase one of these. Most seem like they were made from a car antenna. This one however has a substantial feel, operates smoothly, and the magnet is strong. One recommendation........... about three inches longer would be perfect! I'm 5'11" with back issues and a good case of the dropsies. Excellent product.

Ok

The strength of the magnet is on par with similar tools of this nature, but the head is much larger making it a little harder to get into some tight places. Overall it does the job.

Saves what you drop!

I bought this because the motor on our car window went out and I had to replace it, the job was easy except I dropped on of the screws down into the bottom of the door pannel and could not get ahold of it to pull it out. So I went to Lowe's looking for some type of magnet I could get down in there with. Found this tool and it saved time and aggrevation of trying to get what I needed out of the bottom of the panel. I carry it in my tool box because I do odd jobs for others this is a handy tool ...

Can’t go wrong with craftsman

does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Just has a larger magnetic head than you’d expect.

only extends 24”

The package says it extends 33”. It only extends 24”.

Pickup Too;

The tool works well if you can see what you are after but it is not strong enough to pickup something unless you can get right on it. If the magnet was strong enough to pick up something like a screw or nut a quarter or half inch away it would be better because you can't always see what you are trying to retrieve.

Great tool that anyone should have.

If you spend any time working on anything with nuts and bolts you should have this magnetic pick up tool, especially for the nightmare scenario of dropping things into the engine bay. There is no reason not to have this tool, simple as that.

Strong magnetic head. Bigger than I wanted for tight spaces. Good extension

Telescopic magnet

Need a new Telescopic magnet, happy to have found this craftsman one at Lowe’s. Took it home and used it right away, good power . Just what I needed.
