Short Battery Life
Would Not RecommendMy wife bought this for me as a Christmas gift. Mainly because it was 500 lumens. I final got an opportunity today to use it. It held charge less than an hour on high. I have to have bright lights to see better. I tried to change the batteries to one that was not chargeable. Didn't happen. Battery pack is soldered in. Had I paid attention to this detail when she bought it, I would have said "no", let's find something else. Do not buy this product. Too much time spent on the charger.

Would RecommendThis headlamp is absolutely exceptional for the price. It has the brightness and features of headlamps 3x its price. I was on the fence for a while about getting a rechargeable headlamp. But it is completely worth it. The one drawback is the battery life when using it on the highest brightness. But you get what you pay for. Well worth the price.
