Lazy Problem Solving

Please don't sell a product that no longer fits in the included case because you decided that the best solution to people getting bits stuck in the screwdriver is to make the bit driver not removable. This makes absolutely no sense other than to sell existing inventory, even if Craftsman knows the product is bad.

Great for my motor home

I needed to get some weird screwdriver heads (like square and star) for use in my RV. I found this and really like it. It’s compact, has what I need and the case comes in hand.

Can't remove bit driver and doesn't fit case.

After reading a lot of these reviews about bits falling inside the handle, it seems Craftsman decided the best fix was to make the extendable driver unremovable. Because of that, the whole thing does not fit in the provided case. Seems like the design of this thing was not well thought out.

I purchased this set because I associate quality with this brand. Unfortunately, upon receiving my set today and attempting to remove the extender in order to put the ratchet screwdriver handle into the case, I found it to be an impossible task; the handle WILL NOT fit into the case. This is disappointing. I would greatly appreciate assistance with my issue, as soon as possible.

Like others I bought this loving the idea of extension that can also be removed. Like others I tried to pull the extension out to no avail. After trying a bit too hard, the handle came apart from the rachet mechanism and I was able to inspect the inner tip of the extension. Guess what - it has a circlip that blocks it from being pulled out! There is one 2 year old review on youtube where the shaft is removable; but then on the one from a year ago it's already not. Great little tool

This is one of the best little tools I've picked up in a while. I had an Oreck vacuum that needed the belt replaced, and a good cleaning from pet hair around the motor. The 5 screws in the plate covering the motor were Hex - and the screws were very deep set into little shafts.
