This really needs to be taken out of production.

Battery time is low, and after 3 uses it's stopped trimming almost altogether. My spool didn't break like other reviewers, but likely just because my motor gave out first.

bad battery and other things

First battery that came with it will not charge the head rotates to engage and only clicks once in a while so it will not stay in place to edge from out of the box something is loose it rattles it is hard for me to return to store it is a 200-mile round trip to lowes just really disappointed in Craftsman tools bought 6/13/2024

Broke after second use

This broke during the second use. Not very durable. A pin fell off that helps release the string and it was not fixable. Would not recommend.

Craftsman Weed Eater

I returned product due to battery not working. The sales clerk was aware that this was an issue with this product, she said she was surprised product had not been recalled, she explained many customers had returned product for the same issue. She hesitated to give me a refund without receipt...I understand. Thank Goodness I had used my rewards phone number at time of purchase which recorded the transaction and I was able to get a full refund.

A trimmer worth having

Best trimmer we have ever had, string doesn’t jam, worth the cost

Be wary of the pricing discounts.

The battery in both trimmers were expired and did not work. I had to travel over 90 minutes to find replacements. Also I was granted a discount due to some poor service issues and after I made the order the discount was withdrawn

Same problem as most everyone else

I thought Craftsman was supposed to be a good product. Had for one season and I have the same problem as everyone else. Endless line of string because of a broken spool feed. No tension so it just blasts out and rains spool pieces all over you. A problem they have known about for years but apparently have decided to ignore. Shame on Craftsman for making such a shoddy product and not standing behind it. Probably won’t even consider Craftsman in the future.

defective chargers

I bought 1 this morning, the charger was defective. Craftsman CSR said it was a defective charger & it would be 2 weeks to get a new one from them. I took it back to Lowe's to replace, they tried 2 others off the shelf. Neither would charge.Returned for a refund.

Whimpy

It's not a powerfull as we thought it should be.
