Someone gave a used one they had for 2 years and had been sitting for monthsand it started right up and I cut atleast one or 2 yards a day and so far for the first 60 days haven't had any issues and am actually impressed how well it runs through thick grass without shutting like a lot of other mowers will die repeatedly in thick grass so far so good and

Fire the Engineer

Total piece of junk. Made to side-expel, bag, and mulch, but does a poor job of bagging, due to this. Cuttings don't get propelled into bag with enough force. Cuttings get mulched up and stick to undercarriage by DESIGN! Rolling speed of mower is to fast, preventing ejection rate to bag to keep up with intake rate. Sucks down gas like a V-8. Total engineering FAILURE! Worst part is they slandered the Craftsman name by attaching it too this overpriced piece of junk.

only worked for 3 months

I was only able to use it maybe 4 times before it stopped working. when I took it back to the store they told me the repair was not covered.

Broke down after a year

I purchased this lawn mower in May 2024. The lawn mower broke down today for no reason at all. Now, I need to find someone to repair it

This mower just sucks. Bought from Lowes in April 2024. It worked well for the first couple mows. The problem is, if you stop the mower for any reason it will NOT restart . Doesn't matter if it was 5 minutes into your mow or 45. Sometimes it will restart after 30 minutes, sometimes hours to a day later before it starts again. Replaced several parts with no improvement. Disappointed customer

Bought this lawn mower model 12A A26B793 March 2024. Not been one time it has not needed starting fluid to start. As of today won’t start at all. It is being placed in the trash for pick up tomorrow.

Disappointed

I purchases this Lawn Mower last year. It was only used 4 times. I took it out this year and it will not start or work. I called customer service and the representative was rude. I advised her there was no gas in the unit during the winter. She basically said well you need to put sea foam in it cause the problem your having is because gas was left in it. Then she gave me a repair place over 1 hour away. This unit has a 2 year warranty and being only a year old it should not have any issues. Low...

Don’t waste your money

I have always really been happy with Craftsman. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with this purchase. I bought this mower last year. It worked great. This year I changed the air filter, new spark plug set to proper gap and fresh gas. Won’t start after almost an hour of trying. I have never had this issue with a mower this new. I have made some bad purchases in the past, but this may be the my all time worst purchase.

DO NOT BUY

Terrible mower!! Do not waste your money on this. It worked for one season and when we brought it back out this season the engine wont stay on. We replaced the fuel and oil and even when through three bottles of starting fluid to get it going. It only works for a minute before the engine dies again. Big disappointment.

Goes in and out

I've had this for almost 2 years now, so I am just shy of the warranty expiration date. The last two springs I've had to get in serviced by a local repair shop. I let it this year completely run out of gas, filled it up and boom... no start! It's cost me more in maintenance & servicing for it than it was new.

Unreliable

Crankshaft broke after 11 months (which includes winter months of no mowing) of normal use. I called the warranty and they said I have to take it to a repair shop over an hour away and that if they find any reason that the cause is not manufacture defect then it’s on me to pay the repairman and diagnostics etc. Not worth it. Why did the mower break internally in the first case while cutting grass?

Messy Machine

Lawn Mower engine works but the product throws grass and dirt everywhere. I tried a different catcher basket and it still threw debris everywhere. I called for help but the closest authorized dealer is too far away and the mower does not fit in my 2016 chevrolet Malibu (I am 77 years old). Not worth it

One star is too much!!! Purchased this model and returned the next day. The pull cord was stuck, and blade would not move. The replacement mower gave us same problems the first day to start but we were able to get it going. Used it twice and the third time could not get it to start once again. The pull cord would not budge, and I had to hit the blade to get it to move around. Durable and dependable

This product is extremely durable, used it to mow down chest high brush, worked great!!!

Leaking Oil

This mower is leaking oil and I purchased it on 04/15/2024. I don't know why. I check to make sure that it is not being overfilled. Can someone explain why it is leaking oil?

Poor Performance, no easy fixes

Mower really struggles if grass is high, even at highest cut setting. Self-propelled saps power from blade so grass must be even shorter. Air filter cap kept coming off and is now lost, part number unavailable it seems online. Mower has burned through a lot of oil for a new mower. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I expected better from Craftsmen but I guess quality has dropped.
