Col-met 4 ft brown edging difficult to separate

I have used this same edging before ( 4 ft. curved / 4 ft. straight). Previous( 1-2 yr) pieces could be separated by hand with moderate difficulty by flexing/bending the stake section until it separated from the main section. Recently purchased ( Aug 2019) 4 ft. straight brown sections required significantly more force to separate, requiring mounting the section in a bench vise with section sandwiched between wood blocks to protect the finish. I bought this to create an edge between the driveway and entry gate to the back yard. It worked perfectly as it creates a lip as high as you like and comes with pre cut clamps that hold the edge in place. Works as described. No signs of weathering after a month. Easy to install.

Better than plastic

Metal lasts longer and got the job done. I have replaced the plastic edging prior owners used.

Landscape edge

This product works fantastic for border use for gardens, shrubbery and so much more. Just use a wrench or strong needle nose pliers to pry the tabs off of each end and your pretty much cruising down easy street

Great for edging around river rock!

We installed this metal edging to keep river rock in place around our porch. It was much easier to install than I thought it would be, and it creates a nice clean/sharp barrier between the grass and the rock. The metal also looks/feels lux compared to the plastic material edging. Good value for the price. Would highly recommend.

Best choice for edging

This is so much better than all the other edging I've ever used. Once you learn how to remove the spikes (twist off with vice grips) the rest is easy. No uncoiling plastic edging and trying to make a straight line. I put in a straight line of 70 feet. Perfect along property lines. The neighbors can't destroy it with their lawnmower. Great product and reasonably priced.

Easy to use and lasts a very long time. Price is reasonable and like the brown color much more than the green. Used it against our fence and blends in much better than the green.

I like the edging, but the stakes are difficult to pry off.

Good edging, could be great

Worked well for surrounding a fire pit, would be perfect if the joint was better engineered to fit together. Great price for what you get though

We have replaced all the old plastic edging in our flower beds with this metal product. It is relatively easy to install and looks great in the yard.
