Would Not RecommendWhen ised as directed it doesnt remove or even loosen much lime. Also csnt be used on many surfaces subject to hard water stains. I have a whole house softener and it still isnt of much use on the softer scale i have.
I have used CLR numerous times in past years and have always been pleased with its ability to clean the articles that i needed to clean.

Would RecommendMy toilet has been leaking because of the high calcium carbonate deposit built in the toilet flush valve. I just pour CLR solution into the toilet it solved the problem.

Good product
Would RecommendIf you got the time to soak your corroded parts it does its job everytime in breaking up the calcium and rust. Time needed for soak will vary of course due to level of corrosion.

Don't Scrub; Let Chemical Reaction Happen
Would RecommendThe first time I used CLR, I thought it was highly overrated, because I sprayed it on and scrubbed and scrubbed to no effect. I went to bed not to happy. However, in the morning I was shocked. Forty-five years of rust stains were gone from the toilet tank. It was unbelievably white. The copper screws were like a new penny. I learned my lesson. CLR works through a chemical reaction. Spray it on, or pour it in, and LET IT SIT. Attached is an example picture. The results aren't as dramati...
Rust Removal On Concrete Garage. Floor
Would RecommendI had lots of rust spots on my garage floor from a leaky car radiator. Tried CLR to remove it first by following directions to mix it half and half with water. Noting much happened. Then poured it on the stains full strength. let it bubble for a few minutes then rubbed with steel wool. Took it off completely.
Didn't do anything for calcium
Would Not RecommendMy faucets have calcium buildup. I followed the instructions, but it didn't do anything. I'm not sure if it was just too much for the CLR to handle, but I'll have to replace the faucets.
