Another crap stove from Kitchen Aid

Received this oven with the purchase of a new home. Absolutely the worst cooktop that I have ever cooked on. Controls are easy, but the elements provide no even heat control, especially at low temperatures. Low simmering is impossible. When the elements heat up even on low, it’s full blast. For the oven control lock, it makes you wait for it to unlock after you have pressed the unlock buttons- it’s not a timed safe. Disappointed in Kitchenaid.

We are completely disappointed with our purchase of this range. The front stainless steel panel that the knobs sit on heats up when using the oven to a point where it becomes dangerous to our grandchildren. No doubt the electronics will fail in short order. The glass top surface is difficult to keep clean and easily scratched. With the control panel being in the same plane as the cooktop, it soon gets scratched from the pots and pans. The features on the range are simple but very good

Good but wait for the newer model

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Works well, looks great. Bakes evenly, easy controls. The burners are pretty good but tend to run hot. The finish isn't KitchenAids proper coated stainless like all the other appliances so it is harder to clean.

Good Stove

Sleek design, with one pain point

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) this range is built sturdy with a very sleek design. The cooking surface is also very good quality. The only knock on the design is that the display is lying flat instead of it being a vertical display like most ranges of this type. This is poor because it leads to a lot of scratches on the surrounding stainless steel panels while cooking.

Shiny and Functional

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Working well - so far. It is well featured and the burners heat up super quick, oven is a little slow to reach temp but works good. Have not had to clean oven yet but it looks simple. Glass cook top is a lot harder to keep clean than the previous range we had (20 year old KA) but i think that is how it is these days - build quality not as good I sense. I am not sure I like the control panel on the top of the front of the range though!

Lack of Instructions for Senior Buyers

Nice stove

There are some great features like steam, bread proofing and convection. The burners take a bit to get used to and you must make sure you are using the proper sized cookware to make the most out of the Even Heat Ultra burner.
