Fun with my little girl
Would RecommendThis project and many other ones like it are great at getting little ones involved in building. My daughter has always liked helping me with projects and this is me helping her with one. I recomend this for all kids just to be able to build something with their hands and real tools not computers or phones or tablets.

Would RecommendKit was an awesome confidence builder for my 5 year old granddaughter. She needed only minimum help with getting the nails started. Once they were started she completed the task easily. The placement of the decals was the most fun for her. This is a great starter project for young kids.

Didn't line up
Would Not RecommendThe holes on the airplane were not drilled correctly and we could not put this together with the kids. The other models we got were great and the kids (8 to 10) were able to assemble them almost by themselves. Lucky I had an extra kit.

Wooden plane with splitting wood
My eight yr old had great difficulty assembling this plane due to wood issues. Very cheap, which you'd expect but as each piece was nailed (provided nails way too long for the project in most cases) the wood split.
For older children 6+
My 4 yr old received this as a gift. It's a cute little plane, but the wood is very soft and brittle. Every time he missed the nail it left a huge dent, and one of the wheels broke in half while putting another part on. I will have to try to glue it back together. It was an okay project, but we will purchase something with more flat surfaces and less small parts next time.
