Great Grandson project
Would RecommendKit goes together easily. My 3 yr grandson enjoyed painting the pieces before assembly. We used some small sample paint (inexpensive at resale side of that department). The decals are a nice touch for further fun in this project. We then purchased a hook, some wire and book food…The birds found it relatively quickly and we have a happy little birder!

Would RecommendI bought 2 of the bird feeder kits for my visiting grandsons, ages 6 and 8. The instructions were clear, the pieces were all there and fit correctly. The 8 year old built the feeder without much help; the 6 year old needed adult help. My grandsons have no workshop at home - if your child has previous wood-working experience, they will have no difficulty and may even be bored. We had fun, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.
