Disadavantage of policy with machines suing TN229

As I explained at length the Brother new policy preventing toner counter reset on this range of new machines (using TN 229s) is unacceptable for environment law and finances. Totally outrageous I returned the machine and got an old demo version of a machine using the TN227 and allowing reset! The only way this would be acceptable is if there existed an accurate sensor for toner level… mine was not!!!

Alignment

The printer has alignment issues and I have registered the printer but it has ran out ink and no word yet on how to get more ink

Relentless email spam I can’t stop

Print quality is nothing special. Toner ran out in a week! Go and look up the cost for toner! Setup was easy on LAN. I haven’t tried wireless yet.

This has been great

It has been great. Worry free about ink. do the math and you will save a lot of money.

3280CDW review

This is a good value color printer. I thought it came with a scan feature but it doesn't, so that was disappointing. Guess I didn't read all the fine print. Still, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Poor Toner Use and Not Efficient

Purchased brand new and toner ran out (both color and black ink)within 2 weeks of our IT installing in our office, mind you toner (color) is not exactly "cheap" so cost efficiency is nowhere near what our office thought it might be. (Medical private Dr office so we are not printing a heavy load for context.)

Finally an honest company selling printers!

Highly recommend this printer for office or home use. Some useful tips: When you set it up, print your test page to make sure all is working as intended, then change settings to Mono so it only prints B&W. If you ever need to print in color just go into settings and change it back to Color. Also enable Toner Save mode. I have to tip my hat to Brother for providing these features. I'm a really hard sell when it comes to purchases like a printer and they've won me over as a loyal customer.

Terrible, buy from different brand

Machine does not work out of the box, it only gives error messages and toner is half full.

Best Wi-Fi Printer I’ve Had
