Received this as Christmas gift as I’ve been doing hand embroidery for a little over a year and had been looking at other options. This has been a lot of fun, but highly recommend getting help from a professional if it’s been a while since you’ve sewn or have never sewn. I’m loving the embroidery functionality.

Love my Brother SE 700
This is the first embroidery sewing machine I have ever had and I love it! I have used Brother Sewing machines since I started sewing. I love the self threading and how user friendly it is for my first time embroidering.

New to Brother machines
I have loved this machine so far. I have not yet pulled out the embroidery pieces but for quilting and making gift items, it has been so wonderful! It is easy to use, glides smoothly, has lots of stitch options and has just been fabulous so far.

Don’t waste your time.
It was good when I first got it, but definitely not anymore. It keeps messing up my embroidery designs, and does not work smoothly, mind you I haven’t used it much either! Lets just say I’m looking for another machine to replace this thing.

touch screen of the brother se700
The embroidery touch screen panel is missing the ADD button wherein you can merge/combine designs without using any software. I think the old machine or software has that feature which is make it a lot easier to add design before embroidering. Also a copy button should be available too so you can copy designs within the embroidery area so can run a design within the embroidery area.
