Printer / scanner was working fine until I did one of their stupid updates! Why do they need to do updates on a printer twice a week?! Now the scanner doesn't work at all! Wish I never bought it. Printer was fine, company is crap!

Nice Printer, Scanner, and Fax
Purchased, brought it home, started the setup. Pretty easy, only one issue: I tried getting everything up and running and did, but had to read the instructions. duh

Great wide format printer and scanner
Excellent Wide Format printer AND scanner. Easy use. Returned an Epson that kept losing the configuration and had issues with Macbook printing. No issues with this unit. Recommended.

Great for volume jobs
I really like this printer's speed and versatility for working from home. I can keep multiple sizes of paper in the trays to avoid having to swap out between jobs since I often print ledger-sized drawings. My only complaint is that the print quality is a little lacking; expected when the printing speed is so fast, but I wish it was better.

Known Problem with MFC-J6555DW
This is my 2nd Brother Printer. Bought this thinking it was as good or better than 1st. Not the case. Something broke inside the printer, so they sent a new one. Same noise happened again. If there is a known problem, please fix it and not just send a new one.

Despite the noise, a pretty decent printer
We did quite a bit of research, and settled on Brother for the best value with the most features. We're counting on ink to last longer than with our recently retired Epson. At the momnet, the only downside is that it's just as noisy as other ink jet printers. I wish someone could manufacture an inkjet printer that is as quiet as a laserjet. Print quality and paper size features are great.
