I love my Brother Printer

I am new to printers, and never used one before. The Brother printer is easy to use. The directions help get you started. To those who love technology this will be easy for you to use. I love this printer because it is easy to read the directions. You make a mistake try again, its worth your time. It took me less than a month to know this Printer and how to use it. I recommend this printer to all who want a good printer. Thank you

Regular Paper Jams are annoying

Having been very satisfied with an old Brother printer,MFC-J875DW, that finally died after 10 years, I'm disappointed that this 3 month old printer is know having paper jams on a regular basis. I'm using good quality 94 bright, 20 lb. paper. Are there remedies to this issue that apparently is not rare with this model?

Print Quality

After having owned a black and white Brother printer for 10+ years without a hitch, I decided that I would like to have a color printr. I purchased this printer and at first it worked fine but ever since changing out the black ink when it ran out the print quality has not been good at all. I have tried all the maintenance and cleaning tips from Brother to resolve the issue and even though the test page comes out ok the printing remains wavy and disjointed. Disappointing.

AN EXCELLENT MACHINE, THE 3RD I HAVE OWNED SINCE I HAVE BEEN USING PRINTERS. SERVICE IS JUST AS GOOD, OR MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN THE MACHINE ITSELF!!

Printer sucks

The printer does not work. I bought new Brother ink cartridges and all I get are faded, blurry lines

Unit stopped working

Changed ink with original Brother cartridges but unit will not print legibly.

Ink nozzles need frequent cleaning in dry climate

This has been a pretty good printer for my needs. I don't print stuff everyday, but only occasionally. I live in southern Colorado where the climate is pretty dry. The printer works fine after I clean it. But then after a few weeks, its ink nozzles get dried up and clog. This results in documents that are striped with spotty white lines. Then I have to clean it again. To clean it, I have to turn it off while printing, then move the print head manually, placing it over a paper towel satura...

Bad quality photo printing and finicky controls

This printer is not only a pain to use with the functions (you have to even hit an extra button to turn it off!), but the photo print quality is HORRENDOUS. I have fiddled with many settings to try and get decent color on a photo print but it continues to print bad quality photos - skin yellowish, colors muted, I’ve never had a printer that is so bad.

WANT TO SAVE MONEY??

This printer is not quite as fast as the one I used before, but the amount of money I am saving more than makes up for that! The print quality is excellent and I highly recommend it for home or office.

wont buy again

as soon as updated the machine just stopped printing. the help on line from brother was no help. replaced with a different printer.

Didn't work and then it did.

It took most of one evening to establish a connection between the printer and the computer. The directions for setting up and getting the printer to function needs to be more user friendly. Once the connection was made, the printer work great.

Finally a printer i don't have to go to battle against every week. This is a printer that was built to help you print instead of built to frustrate.

PRINT? Maybe if you are lucky

I’ve had this printer for maybe 5 years. It prints when it wants to. NOT RELIABLE. I just replaced the ink. It does not print at all. Put your money in a much better printer.
