Beautiful print...with Brother reputation!

I've owned Brother printers 20+ years. Great print at low price. I bought this model for WiFi and scan. Great improvement in WiFi connection ease, and reliable. I want Brother to hire a GREAT app writer...why do I pick the Brother app to scan, only to be told to shift to a second app?? Come'on guys, your engineering is better than that. Also, I must've missed some complicated reason why I can't just step up to scan to some set destination...why must I have an app as middleman. I LOVE this scanne...

Poor history and support

The printer will not work after an initial print. If I clear the machine, it will print one tome. It needs to be re-installed just to get that far. It haS BEEN A COMPLETE WRECK.

Good All in One for the Money with one flaw

Only problem I've found with this unit is that it will drop the WIFI from time to time and requires inputting of the password in order to reconnect. Unless you have a short easy router password, this is a pain, as it has to be done through two keys on the panel. I don't know why it doesn't keep the password in non-volatile memory.

Software Updates

Print quality is fine; device is confused by password system. Neither the password on the back of the device nor the account password is accepted for software updates. Device "reports" it was unable to print a submitted request.... though it did print. ??? Concerns reported at purchase and nothing was done about it. If the print quality wasn't acceptable I would have simply returned it. Contact with the company is useless.
