Love my "Little Brother"
For a basic sewing machine, I really like it. It does everything I need it to do. It has several decorative stitches to choose from. I really like the extension table which was included in the box along with the many feet, also included. If I had a negative comment, it would be regarding getting a good 1/4" seam. I would like a larger plate with the seam marked at 1/4". It took a bit to figure it out and using the included 1/4" seam foot. All in all - I love it!

Upgrade machine
I've been sewing with it weekly since I bought it four months ago and have been completely satisfied. I mostly quilt (piece) but also have done some machine quilting to finish my projects. The attachments and controls to change stitching have worked great. I really love the ease of using the automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching and the maximum sewing speed control. Powerful little machine!
I bought this small Brother machine as a back up to my Dream Creator inovvis VQ2400. Obviously, the Dream Creator is much heavier and bigger than my CP100X. I do a lot of quilting and camping! I can take the CP100X in the camper to work on a quilt when it is too hot or rainy to be outside! It is a powerful little machine, stitches quickly, and has so many options in different stitches. the computer has lost its mind
We bought 5 of these machines for out free sewing room 2 of them have started doing an automatic back stitch whenever the sewer pauses. it is very confusing for beginners and maddening for experianced sewers.

Pleased at the ease of use
So far, great. Have only tailored one pair of pants and the machine was easy to use. I need basic, and this is so much more. Love the platform - makes it like a set-in machine. Replaced a 40 year old Singer.
