Would RecommendThis item BP27 does work to repair motor plate 688-D, but the mounting screws are pointing in the wrong direction. I was able to remove the mounting screws and put them through in the opposite direction using a T15 torx driver and just pass them through the other direction. Not an exact replacement for original motor but works fine.

Would RecommendThe replacement kit arrived on time and was an easy fix after installing and discovering the spindle was about 1/8” too long, hitting the metal framework and preventing it from turning. I used a hacksaw and now it is working beautifully.
