Environmentally friendly refill water filter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using another brand with all the replaceable plastic filters creating such a havoc for the environment. This new system from Brita is great at water filtration with its novel activated charcoal in coconut husk paper bag filters without needing to burden the earth with more plastics! The water is refreshing and clean considering our hard water content. Never going back to anything else!

Just ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the idea behind this filter is that you keep the plastic shell and just buy the bag to refill. I don’t understand why it’s more expensive to buy it this way than it is to buy the older filter and plastic cover. That’s the one thing I would change since we use the cover over and over and over for this pitcher.

Simply add the filter to a bowl of water and allow it to sit for around 3 minutes. After that simply run under water then it's ready to install in the pitcher . It's that easy . Within a few minutes there is fresh nice tasting water .

Less waste

I do wish it the pitcher was a little easier to open to get to the filter, but once you get the hang of it it’s super easy to just open the refillable filter and change it

Fresh filtered water

Nothing has really changed in the product in general. It still makes the water taste really good. The biggest downfall would be the reoccurring cost of the filters. My daughter will take this one to college in the fall.
