Doesn't fit properly

Doesn't fit. Water runs through to quick and doesn't filter properly for this reason.

Lasts only a month

These replacement filters do not even last 6 weeks. Unlike the original filter that came with the pitcher we bought in January (2023), the last one was a complete dud. Bait Nd switch? Bummer.

I’ve been using Brita products for over 20 years! I really enjoy the newer filtration system. My youngest son says he can taste a difference between Brita vs tap water, I certainly can.

Becomes extremely slow very soon

Though the product claims that it could last for 6 months, it became extremely slow after 2 months use, EXTREMELY. Much slower than the regular filter at any point of its lifespan. It is shared by merely two people and is only used to filter regular tap water (in California). We are using it with the regular 6-cup capacity Brita pitcher, and it takes more than 20 minutes to filter 1 round. What’s even worse is that this purchase comes with 4 filters. Odor from the Jug: new light Blue colored filter

I always used to wash my Britta Jug when I change the filter 6 to 8 weeks; BUT rinsed it daily, thouroghly when I refilled it. I never noticed any smell from the jug during the 6 weeks. With this new light Blue coloured filter, which lasts longer; within a few days I have noticed some sort of an odor as soon as I open the lid. Why? has the quality of palstic chagned? Great filter!

Love this filter! We've been using it for a couple of years. Our water has a very strong chlorine smell, and this filters it out. Water now smells and tastes great.

I wish I read the reviews before purchasing a pitcher with an Elite filter, which doesn't fit securely. Water just streams into the pitcher, which leads me to believe the water is not being filtered. Seems many others have had the same experience.

Like filter lasting for 6 months

I am happy that I only have to change the filter every 6 months.

Water filter

The water filter last around 6 months, and the water taste very clean without any aftertaste or any odors of chlorine. My cat also enjoys drinking the filtered water. And I've noticed the water stays fresher longer and my cat bowl then the tap water.

Doesn't Filter AT ALL

I purchased FOUR long lasting filters thinking of inflation. Now I am stuck with all these filters. The water comes out so fast I can't even fill the reservoir halfway. I then checked the water quality and it is the same as the tap water. I am tempted to break open one but I do not have another proven filter. I decided to to open another one a few days later and it is the same thing. I have two proven duds and I use it now to water my plants. I went back to Zerowater!

Bad design for older pitchers

DOES NOT HOLD IN PLACE WELL! Filter will float up when filling & have to hold down in place

When is Brita going to fix this issue (part II)

Interesting.... I took the time to write a rather long review on here on Jan 16, 2023, which someone from Brita responded to, giving me a case # to call them and discuss my issue, and now it appears to have been deleted along with quite a few others, and the star rating on this product seems to have gone up quite a bit...
