Batteries seem to have a decent life for the amount of light you can get out of it. The back twists off easily to be able to use the two pre-drilled holes to attach to a surface if you'd like. Very useful in multiple areas of my house

I place on in our small coat closet that came without wiring for a light. As soon as you open the door it lights up. I also place 2 in our living room for when our kids wake up at night they are able to see where they are going and not trip.

Design is simple and robust, easily removed for portability, no reflective cover, no direct eye-contact with LED, wide-angle detection range, and has an active sensor (meaning it won't leave you in darkness until you're out of range and will only shut off 30 seconds.
