This was a piece I bought to use to add mood to a room and to store decorative objects. It's ideal! Shame that the pull chain isnt longer as it's a tall product & a longer chain would make it easier to grasp when sitting down next to it

I happen to have lots of experience assembling such products, and you can take it from me that it's fairly simple to set up as these things go. The light is sufficiently bright to be used as a reading lamp and will illuminate a medium sized room. While the drawers are made of plastic, not wood, they have stops to prevent them sliding out and falling, a smart feature. This lamp comes with a long cord which can be easily hidden along the exterior of the frame

Agreed, this isnt the sturdiest piece on the planet but dont forget that its a lamp! The fact that it can accommodate a few books or odds and ends is an added bonus. Having somewhere to put my bits and pieces is so convenient batteries, remotes, USB sticks, headphones and other things that can clutter other furniture

We went for two of these to function as our nightstands and really think they look the part. A downside that potential customers should be aware of is that you cant expect them to support much weight. Theyre wobbly if bumped, so are probably easy to knock over as they come with really narrow bases
