Would RecommendWas looking for polycarbonate plastic but that seems to be off the market. Did not want metal, so decided to try the pressed bamboo fiber option which seems to have replaced plastic. These switch covers are well done and feel much like plastic, with a smooth molded and painted finish. A bit pricey, but so is a hamburger today. Only complaint is the screws are about twice as long as necessary, so a lot of extra screwdriver turning if changing out your whole house.
