Would Not RecommendThe crank broke because the stem that the plastic worm gear is attached to got jammed in the tube. To remove that stem I need a hammer and a stick in the bottom. Unfortunately, because it was jammed, the worm gear is now ruined and it is plastic. I'm unsure if I can ever replace this I might have to junk the whole thing

I realized that it had too much play in between the plate that is on the tripod when you try to screw it on the laser , it has too much play in between the laser plate that screws to the bottom of the laser to hold it tight.
