minor complaints

only 3 stars for a couple minor complaints. i have medium/large fingers and the blade release is not easy to use. also its a little odd to have the speed control on th bottom of the trigger. wouldve made more sense to have it on the top of the handle. otherwise seems solid and well-built

Solid product.

Purchased this as an alternative to my husbands much heavier jigsaw. I needed a tool for use in school projects where teenagers and myself (older female) could easily handle. This product worked like a dream! It is lightweight and easy to use and comes with a handy carrying case. Even my husband commented on how easy this one is to use!

Awesome Saw

I bought this saw in Dec. 2019. This is an awesome saw. The handle is comfortable and it has a powerful 6 amp motor is a variable speed. Most od all I love the new T-blades. My “old” saw used old flat blades which actually sometimes came loose. Bosch makes great products so I highly recommend this Saw!

Great Features

I received the Jig Saw as a Xmas Gift and havenot had an opportunity to use it yet. It is by far the best Jig Saw that I have owned and I look forward to using it. Of course, I will first need to become familar with the tool-less blade insertion and removal feature.

Nice jigsaw, does the job

Good jigsaw, it worked well for the job I wanted it for. The variable speed is handy and the fan blowing detritus away from the blade is very useful. My only peeve is that the lever to release the blade is stiff and difficult to access especially if you have arthritic fingers.

easy breezy for the DIY homemaker

As a novice handywoman, the Bosch 6-amp keyless T shank variable speed corded jigsaw evaporated my fear that I would not be able to handle it for the job at hand. Wonderful tool by a wonderful company !! Only wished I had purchased it sooner.

great buy at a great price

I bought this jig saw to replace what I though, that it was a great jig saw,this by far it is a better saw,first it wont jump ,it does keep straight line and it was less expensive by far,nice handle, heavier and more power

A solid product.

Works well with numerous features. Even included a splinter guard that help even more with blade sway.

Another Great Bosch Acquisition

This tool worked as advertised - great tool. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Jig Saw or replacing an old Jig Saw.

Crap product broke first time used

I attempted to use this for the FIRST time I used this. The quick clamp that is used to hold the blade in place broke before I made a two inch cut IN WOOD with the supplied wood blade!!!!

Very easy to use & gets the job done. I plan to tackle other home projects one day because I now don't have to borrow one.

Great saw.

I've only used it. Couple times so far but has meet my expectations easily. Plenty of power smooth cutting. I like how the blade loads. Very happy.

Works as advertised

I use it with original blades for about a year in the different home projects and there were no issues. Reliable, fast and accurate.

THE JS260 I PURCHASED DID EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED AND WANTED IT TO DO. THIS IS TRUE WITH EVERY BOSCH TOOL I HAVE PURCHASED.

Doesn't hold blade after minimal uses.

I bought this tool and get angry every time I need a jigsaw. The motor is very powerful and the tool seems made tough like most other Bosch products. However, the blade holding mechanism was terribly designed...I would have rather had a tool clamping holder....this thing is worthless. I don't have anymore confidence in Bosch tools.

Haven't used it a lot to rate it higher. So far I like it.
