Light weight means less hand fatigue for me, and the power/torque to weight ratio was very noticeable. Now keep in mind they are 12-volt, these tools aren't meant to fasten 3 inch lags or drill 2 inch holes in an table top with a hole saw. I have an 18v drill for those tasks.
