Would Not RecommendHeavier than expected. The center skirt support was welded on incorrectly from the factory but because it is steel I was able to bend it into shape with some hammering. One that was sorted out it was easy to install with no need for a mortar bed.

Mfg Defect
The front apron is not level at the bottom where it meets the floor. I suspect it is a mfg defect as at the drain end there is a 3/4" metal tab extending down past the bottom of the apron. I believe that tab is supposed to be within the apron supporting it vertically and horizontally. Thought I might be able to compensate but the gap between the floor and the drain end of the apron is too wide. Also, I tried calling the support phone number four times for help. Would Not Recommend1st tub had an enameled dent, ie, factory saw it and shipped it that way. 2nd tub is slightly twisted, The ends aren't parallel. Makes it very hard to match it to a tub surround kit. Outside of tub is 14" but there's a 3" styrofoam spacer under the tub so max depth is only 7 inches after deducting for the overflow hole.

Glaze cover was not even, bald spot
Would Not RecommendPurchased a this bath tub once I got it home you could see where a forklift had dented it the side cracking the glaze. So I returned for another one The second on was installed by my contractor when we noticed the glaze was not evenly sprayed on. There was a bald spot. Very careless. Do not recommend this tub.

Good for the price
Would RecommendI bought this item to mitigate the price and have the durability of steel. The item is good overall for the price. The tub is not really made from heavy guage steel. I accidentally bent it a bit during the installation, and it only took a gentle push to realign it. The porcelain is very lightly coated and brittle but will do if you are a bit more careful than I was. Will definitely recommend for budget conscious buyers.
