Item was shipped without the part-2 hardener. Nearly impossible to get it corrected.

Work fast, or you won't get a smooth finish.

Mixing in cup provided is difficult, and you need to work fast. Smells toxic.

Great product did just what I needed it to do on my cabinets custom finish. You will not find the instructions on the can for that I give a C- but you will find the instructions on the product page labeled "Resources" instructions PDF hope that helps a bit

More Working Time

I used two different brands of bondo before and just open this can today. I was happily surprised to find it gave me more time to work before it stiffened up. This new feature (or just the feature of 3M bondo) reduces waste and improves productivity by allowing me to mix a little bit more at one time. I also felt it was more smooth and easier to apply; but I am not too sure. It could be just my imagination.

Hardener/filler Mix ratio

I agree the product label should have full instructions and precise mixing ratio. Guess they figure body shop workers are very likely to eyeball it anyway. If you assume the supplied hardener will mix the entire can of filler and go by the weight of each on the can, then the mix ratio is 3.5 parts hardener to 100 parts filler by weight. Of course you need an accurate scale to do this, I only need very small amounts so it's fine for me.

What a mess! Followed instructions to the T, before I was able to mix hardner in it turned to a bunch of clumps!

The new can is the same size as the old can but only 3/4 full. Old can is 861 grams, new can is 793 grams. The hardener shrunk even more, going from 1 oz to 3/4 oz., leaving consumers with the incorrect ratio. The quantity is written on the new can in a low contrast font that is very hard to read. I'd rather pay more and get what I am expecting than buy the product and unknowingly get less.

Not enough

Bought 2 diffrent size cans both only half full. The original body filler didn't come with instructions. The quick set body filler becomes unworkable after 2 minutes. Set up time isn't much diffrent between the 2 products but they cost the same so not really a big deal. Just disappointing the product is misleading. You buy a quart you expect a quart of product. Had to buy an additional can to finish small project

Can only filled halfway with product

It's a shame that 3M/Bondo would take advantage of their customers by only filling their products halfway. I will factor this into my future purchase decisions when needing a product offered by 3M or its competitors.

“Mixing Instructions”

Why can’t 3M put mixing instructions on the can. Purchased the 1 quart can, NO instruction sheet, NO instructions on the can. Give us a break, a little less health warnings and just one line of mixing instructions.

Fill it to the rim next time!

You don't say how tall the 3 inch puddle is. You also don't fill the quart container to the top. Which is fraud in my book. Imagine if you bought a can of paint, jug of milk, gallon of gas, can of soda, quart of oil - and none of them were full? You'd be scratching your head. Also, not having the simple directions on the can is a joke. What has happened ed to this company?

Understanding Instructions Telepathically

I’ve was unsuccessful in my attempt to read the mind of the person that wrote the instructions. How deep/tall/thick shall the 3” diameter “puddle” be! Should I imagine I’m flinging a spoonful of whipped cream on my stack of blueberry waffles? When squeezing a 3” “strip” of hardener, how thick/thin should that be? When I was young, I was scolded for using too much toothpaste on my toothbrush. I tried to use less, but I kind of liked the taste of Aqua Fresh for kids! Now I’m afraid I’m ...

Great product and easy to apply.

Worked beautifully. Easy to mix, apply, and sand. Paint adhered well. Perfect!

I don’t know what to do with my hands

Instructions leave a lot to the imagination. There is no ratio given. It’s just guess work.
