Bonds like iron

Steel Door patched a dent by painters when they build my house with indoor wall patch. This bubbled the paint. Removed and used Salmon Patching Compound and door looks like new. Bondo seems strong and will last forever. Great Product!

Porch floor repair

Had to patch rotted spots on the porch floor. Bondo was easy to use and made a great temporary fix

Works Great

I have used Bondo for a number of small projects around the house. In addition to small repair issues on the car, it works well for repairing small issues in a window frame. It dries quickly and a repair I completed a few years back is still holding well. It smells strong, as you would expect, so make sure to mix in a well ventilated area.

Cures quick, sands smooth.. Does what Bondo's supposed to do. I used to fix some crappy welds I made :( Made the paint look much better.

Bondo Joist Repair

I repaired a split 2x12 deck joist by 1)jacking the damaged joist up, 2)securing a 4' 2x12 board on the back side with 9 screws, 3)spreading bondo on the outside, 4)sanding the bondo surface, and 4)painting the outside. The repair is undetectable from the outside and has sufficient strength.

Great for Repairing Rotted Wood

Although I've used this for auto body work, what I use it for the most is repairing water damaged (rotten) wood. You do have to remove the wet, rotten wood and let it dry, but once you've repaired it with this, it will be water proof. They used to package this same material and indicate it was for wood repair, but it was the same material.

Bondo patching compound

I use this all the time for repairing damaged wood outside the house. It is very strong, doesn't shrink,sands well and takes paint well. It is impervious to the weather also.
