Would Not RecommendNot for normal yard work; might be okay for very light yard work. The plastic on this rake started cracking after the first 10 minutes of use. I took some Gorilla tape to it for reinforcement, and tried to go easier, but the crack in the plastic eventually spread all the way across. Taking it back and going to spend the extra money for a decent rake that is durable and has springs for better flexibility.

Good rake, but thin handle
Would RecommendDefinitely a light-duty rake. The head is strong enough and flexible, but the handle seems to be too thin. I actually heard a "crack" in the handle while consolidating a large pile of leaves. Not a problem if you don't try to move too many leaves at once.

Would Not RecommendBroke on third light raking of a medium sized yard. Total time owned, less than 3 months. If you're planning on doing more than scraping the top layer of leaves, I recommend going with a metal shaft.
