These metal flanges are rock solid when installed with the provided screws. I appreciated that the screws did not easily strip out as I have experienced with cheap screws that come with other products.

Perhaps the wooden rod could be modified to fit.

Rod flange was not a perfect fit. I'm making due, but it doesn't allow the rod to fit in flush the rod sits elevated and curves . Don't know what to do.
