Would RecommendThis "plant hanger",...worked perfectly when I mounted a solar panel to it's 45*degree angle and mounted it to an 8" inch steel piling on our boat dock. Solar panels are supposed to be mounted at a 45* angle to the sun, and this bracket was just what we had been searching for! Metal could have been made heavier?

Would Not RecommendThis closet bracket did not fit my closet. It was not adjustable support arm thus could not reach far enough to put my closet pole into the holder. It was too short in length. There are others out in the market which have adjustable closet support arms -- I don't understand why Lowe's would not carry an adjustable closet bracket!!! Needs more than 1 x 4
Would RecommendThese brackets and their corresponding rod cups need more than a 1 x 4 to mount to the walls because the cups hang lower than the 1 x4. A way to fix it: bend the rod holder up a little. Not hard to do because they aren't that strong.
