What Customers Are Saying

The Blue Hawk latex gloves are generally not considered high-quality. Many users reported the gloves tear and rip easily, even during light tasks like painting or gardening. Several reviewers found the gloves to be too thin, fragile, and difficult to put on, especially for those with larger hands. However, a few customers found the gloves suitable for certain applications such as cleaning and light duty work, and noted they were a good value compared to other brands. Overall, the consensus is the gloves are not durable or reliable enough for most tasks.

Blue Hawk: Never again

Would Not Recommend

I purchased a box of 100 item number 0040542. The first five gloves I pulled out of the box tore when I tried to put them on. They say that one size fits most. I wear a large glove. Over 50% of the gloves tore when I tried to put them on. Never again.

Latex gloves

I use these to clean up after the dogs in the yard. Fit well (I have large hands) and protects my hands from the mess.

Tear easily

Would Not Recommend

I wear XL gloves and about half of these tear before I can even get them on. One size does NOT fit all. Might be OK if you have small hands but were a waste of money for me.

There is no such thing as "One size fits all"!

Would Not Recommend

Could barely get my hand in and usually they tore in the process or shortly afterward. Gave 'em away and recipient hated them, they didn't last anytime at all.

Too thin and weak

Would Not Recommend

What happened to the blue colored ones in this brand? These are about worthless. I go to put my hand in them and most of them break or tear. They don't hold up at all.

GLOVES

Run a bit small for a man's hands. Gave to my wife.

One size fits all - very "fluffy" advertising

Would Not Recommend

Apparently, my hands are large, since I can not get these gloves on my hand without destroying the glove! Your competitor has small, medium and large gloves available. Maybe Lowe's should take a lesson in consumer needs...

Gloves break easily

Would Not Recommend

These are super fragile, some broke while being put on, others at the lightest pull. You won't get protection out of these! They are also powdered, so if you don't like that in gloves, don't buy these.

Thin Junk, one size breaks all

Would Not Recommend

Every 3rd glove broke as I put them on. If one size fits all, why do other companies make large, small and XL gloves?

Thin products breaks easily and does not last

This product is not worth the money. I bought a hundred count box because I do stuff around the house, paint , spread fertilizer bug killer etc. These products can not be used with anything remotely strong as a chemical without disolving. I stored the box in the garage for about half a year and when I went to use them again, they all tore just trying to take them out of the box. The latex basically dried out. I chucked the remaining 8 or so gloves. The venom blue gloves are more expensive but ar...

These Gloves Seem Like a Good Idea

Would Not Recommend

These gloves seemed like a good idea. I mean, I didn't buy the cheapest pair from a no-name store-- these are from Lowes, they have to be worth something, right? Wrong. I've regretted few other purchases as much as this one. Have your nails gone longer than nine minutes without being trimmed? Then these gloves are not for you. Once wearing them, do you plan on touching anything? Then these gloves are not for you. Have you ever sneezed loudly before? Then don't plan on these holding up. Have you...

Skimpy at best

Would Not Recommend

I purchased this product for use in my RV when I go to empty the waste tanks (black and gray) so I have protection for my hands for sanitary reasons. Imagine my surprise when I went to use them for the first time this last weekend and they ripped as I tried to put them on to use. I had to go through a couple of them before I finally was able to put them on intact to empty my tanks.

Good gloves but one size doesn't really fit all.

Would Recommend

I do a lot of staining/painting and just ran out of the gloves I bought at Benny's. The gloves at Benny's were a size large which fit perfect. The Blue Hawk gloves indicate one size fits all. I have average size hands and they are pretty tight. If you have large hands, you should opt for gloves that indicate Large or X-Large.

Terrible gloves

These gloves are very weak and tore almost instantly if they touched anything, might as well not had anything on at all

Can never have enough

Would Recommend

Can never have enough disposable gloves for messy jobs like painting, lots of painting! Only occasionally a glove will tear. For the cost a good buy.

Very Thin Gloves.

Would Not Recommend

I've used many different brands and types of Latex Gloves for work over the last 20 years once and awhile. These are very thin and you must be very careful putting them on. Sometimes one will break at the bottom. I must have broke 5 or more since purchasing. As for the Gloves, once they are on, they are fairly durable for light use only; i.e. painting. Next time I will purchase a thicker brand of Gloves.

Absolute Garbage!!!!!

Would Not Recommend

These latex gloves are without a doubt the absolute worst I have ever purchased. They are so thin and weak that a large percentage of gloves tear or have small holes just pulling them out of the box. While putting the gloves on so many of them tear that it's astounding. I will never buy this brand again. Additionally....the price is too high.
