What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this rope for exceptional strength and durability across household, yard, and outdoor tasks. Most highlight its impressive performance handling heavy loads, resisting sun damage, and holding knots reliably without rotting. Reviewers consistently emphasize outstanding value for the price, with many buying repeatedly and in bulk. The polypropylene construction resists water absorption, and customers appreciate how easy it is to tie, untie, and cut. A few report fraying under abrasion or slight stretching under load, but most agree these minor drawbacks are acceptable given the affordability and reliable everyday performance.

Would RecommendI make going away boxes for Marines that are PCSing, EASing or getting out. I have used several different items and so far the braided polypropylene works the best. I have several different colors like blue, green and black.

Great multi-purpose rope.
Would RecommendI used it to tie myself off as a safety line while up on my roof. Also to hold down things in the back of the truck when moving. Not much stretch. Served my purposes. So far it is a really good multi purpose rope.

Excellent “Cheap” rope
Would RecommendThe other reviews of this rope don’t take into account that this rope is CHEAP! Yes, its going to fray. Yes, the core is made of a different material. This stuff is just over 10 cents a foot. Price 3/8 poly rope from anywhere else thats of a higer quality, its 20-30 cents a foot. Its not for making jump ropes, pulling trees, or lifting hundreds of pounds. It’s for tieing stuff off. We use it to secure glass on our glass trucks at the company I work for. It does a great job of that. You won’t fin...
tree pulling
Would Not Recommendrope snapped, not recommend. Once the outer braid starts to fray, its done and dangerous. Can anyone recommend a good quality tree pulling rope that's not 200$.
the best
Would Recommendthis is the best worst rope ive ever bought. its exceeded all of my expectations in the quantum realm and also in the ghost realm. also this rope is terrible dont buy it. I recommend the handshake 2000 with the upgraded rubber hand so it doesnt hurt the first 4 times.
Junk
Would Not RecommendI wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. Can't think of a worse purchase I have made. The outer shell "peels" back revealing a tissue paper type inner fibers. At which time the outer core bunches up causing just a mess to work with. I finally throw the entire thing away as it just wouldn't have secured the shade cloth I was installing over a arbor. It looked "pretty" but had no real function.
Poor Choice
Would Not RecommendThis rope looks nice on the shelf, but looks can be deceiving. The cover separates easily, allowing the inner fibers to protrude and catch on everything. Its made to look like high quality dockline, but this rope is junk compared to it's look alike.
Dog leash
I cut into 30 foot lengths for my dogs yard rope. It has lasted a year of being outside in the midwest.
Bad Quality
Would Not RecommendOnce outer cover is ripped the internal fibers come out. Not made with quality
Low quality, poor durability
Would Not RecommendClearly the worst rope I have ever purchased. It is not really a braided rope. The outer cover is a very thin braid that very loosely covers synthetic tissue wrap core, which has no structural strength except in the tension direction.. Thought this would be good for jump ropes for the kids. The braid cover tears and ruptures at the slightest pull, such as in brushing the ground as a jump rope. Once the outer braid ruptures, the inner tissue paper fiber pulls out and the rope becomes useless. ...
Not what it looks like
Would Not RecommendIn the package it looks like a great braided rope at a great price, but when you cut it you see it is a very thin layer a braided thread covering two pieces or what looks like paper. I don't dispute the tensile strength, bit it would be very questionable with any type of abrasion.
Great utility rope for the money!!!
Would Recommend10 cents a foot!!! Worth every penny. Great utility rope for tying down objects in truck or trailer, boating, making the best rope swing for the kids, etc., etc., etc. Should you be mountain climbing with this? NO! I leave mine in the back of the truck and tie down stuff all the time. It doesn't scratch the car, it ties and unties well, holds up well to the sun and is strong. I cut mine into 50 foot lengths for ease of use. I read a review that said the ends were difficult to seal up. Cut it, bu...
look at other types
Would Not RecommendI was disappointed in this rope -- it is listed as use in "recreation" but the very fine print on the label warns against use for playground, athletic or any overhead use. It's only real use appears to be tying up a canoe or kayak or other uses where rope flotation is needed. The core of this rope is bunched fiber tapes that make it impossible to effectively whip the rope (to prevent fraying after cutting). Melting to whip only melts the outer braided layer, and the middle fiber tape simply catc...
