What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this penetrating oil for exceptional rust-breaking performance, consistently freeing seized bolts and frozen fasteners where competitors fail, with many reporting dramatic results within minutes and calling it their go-to lubricant. However, a significant concern undermines satisfaction: many users report spray cans losing pressure prematurely, leaving product unusable when half full, even on new cans. Some mention strong odor and flimsy spray mechanisms. Despite packaging frustrations, most customers consider the liquid itself highly effective and worth repurchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB Blaster Penetrating Oil has quickly become one of my go-to tools for tackling stubborn, rusted, or frozen bolts and parts. The spray penetrates deeply and works fast—within a few minutes I could feel the difference loosening up hardware that hadn’t budged in years. Compared to other penetrating oils I’ve tried, this one really seems to cut through rust and corrosion more effectively. I also appreciate that it comes with a precision straw fo...

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After other lubricants failed, this one did the trick! Within minutes, I managed to loosen a stubborn bolt that hadn’t budged since the car was made at the factory. This stuff is very versatile. I used it outdoors, no strong odor to worry about. Wish I had discovered this sooner! Can’t beat the price.

If it’s stuck, this’ll unstick it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a staple in my toolbox. I keep a can in each vehicle, and one in the camper. I much prefer this to other penetrants. I won’t name them, but there is one in an orange can that’s very expensive. I tried to use it thinking the cost would make it better and ended up shearing a sensor in an exhaust. I used PB B’laster and the other three came out no issues. Hands down the best penetrating spray on the market.

Great for seized parts!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used PB B’laster for years when I have seized parts. It is effective and fast acting. This can works great for wide application as well as fine application, and even works upside down.

Can always quits spraying before empty
Would Not RecommendLet me add to the long list of people complaining about the cans always quits spraying long before empty. I've used this product for years, love the way it works, but sick and tired of at half can it always quit spraying. No this is NOT a one time user problem, it has been going on for years. I give up, done with your product.

PB Blater for all of your auto needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB Blaster Is great for anything. It works on bolts & nuts that are rusty and even works on pipes. I use this constantly on all of my automotive needs, the extra long spray nozzle really gets into the tight spots for me. Just shake can and saturate it good, and it will come loose. Really good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is truly amazing! I love that it comes with the tube for precise spraying. I sprayed this on some really rusted screws and it made them come right out with no problem after just a little bit of sitting to soak. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future

Blast off!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB Blaster is the best way to loosen up rusty bolts, caps, and whatever else was long neglected and bonded over time. The drain cover in my basement was rusted to the pipe. Gave it a healthy spray of PB and 5 minute later it feels like I'm Hercules! This is a workshop staple for sure.

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PB B’laster is one of the few penetrants that actually does what it promises. I’ve used it on rusted bolts and frozen parts that WD-40 and other sprays couldn’t touch, and with a little patience it usually breaks things loose. It seeps deep into threads, and once it works its way in, the parts move so much easier. It also leaves a slick film that keeps things lubricated afterward, which is a nice bonus. The downside is the smell it’s pretty str...

New cans suck
Would Not RecommendIve used it for many years and love it but the new cans don't spray.I have half a case that won't spray.Just a couple dribbles and then nothing. Not buying any more unless they change to a better can that sprays

Runs out of pressure
Would Not RecommendMy can is almost half full and has no pressure - what a waste. Checking reviews this ia a common problem. Doesn't matter how good the product is if you can't count on it.

runs out of juice
Would Not Recommendonly get maybe half the quantity out of the can that I pay for

ProStraw makes B'laster a D'Saster
Would Not RecommendAs with many other customers, PB has been my go-to rust penetrant for years, but I am about to switch to a competitor because the packaging has rendered the product completely useless. The dispenser straw is awkwardly sized and fragile, and the cans often run out of propellant after dispensing only 1/2 - 3/4 of the penetrant. Disappointing to say the least.

Good product, bad can.
Would RecommendI think this is a great product. However, the can sucks. The last 2 cans stopped spraying penetrant about 1/2 through. They seemed to just spray air for a minute and then stopped spraying all together. Maybe this is by design so we buy more.

Fantastic Product
Would RecommendI HAD a rusted bolt in the umbrella stand of my porch table. I tries using vise grips and monster channelocks to try to remove the bolt. All I did was strip the threads on the bolt. Bought some Blaster Penetrating Catalyst, spray some on the bolt and waited a bit. Tries to remove the bolt, but no go. Used the hammer, per instructions on can, sprayed again and waited. Tried the channel locks and the bolt came loose! I’m a big fan of this stuff now.

NEW TIP DESIGN IS HORRIBLE AND CAN LOOSES PRESSURE
Would Not RecommendHAVE USED PB BLASTER FOR YEARS AND WAS HAPPY UNTIL THE NEW TIP DESIGN CAME ALONG NOW MOST CANS GO IN TRASH 3/4 FULL BECAUSE OF LOST PRESSURE

Great product, terrible packaging
Would Not RecommendHave used this stuff for years but, the can loses propellant at about half-full. Has done this numerous times.

bad nozzle design
Would RecommendHave used this product in the past and with very good performance. Recently bought 12 cans of the pro nozzle type and 7 were absolutely unusable. The pro nozzle idea is a good but the manufacturing and implementation is very very poor.
