Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Austin, TX, which primarily has live oak trees. In order to slow/stop the spread of oak wilt, I spray every cut surface with pruning seal. Application of this product is easy (just like spray paint) and the coverage is good. If you are also in an area with tree disease transmission via bugs/beetles, please use this or something similar to protect our trees!

The spray is more of a black/dark brown which can be noticeable if you have a very visible tree. Additionally, this spray will stain your clothes so use it wearing work/dirty clothes. But this product helps maintain the longevity of a tree as you prune it.

Definitely would recommend to a friend. The label one the front wasn’t glued on so it looks just like a spray paint can but it had one on the bottom. Will be getting more next spring and summer

Super easy tree pruning sealer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live on acreage and have a lot of trees that I am constantly trimming and pruning. I like this sealer because it is so easy to use. It sprays on thick and covers completely with no runs or drips. I like not having to juggle the can in one hand and the brush in the other. I would definitely recommend this to others who do a lot of pruning.

Easy to use

I used it on our small tree and it was easy to use. It comes in a spray paint type bottle and you can spot treat where you cut the branches easily. I also like that it doesn’t drip. I had to cut several branches on my oak trees and it is very important to protect the cut to avoid any pest to get into. This product is easy to use, shake the can and spray. They have been mismanaged and one side of the walk way got taller that the other. I used this product to reduce the plant's stress and prevent any additional harm. I really liked this spray. Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to protect some recently removed tree branches. We have some issues with invasive species that can cause tree damage. I really like being able to seal up the cut limbs to protect the rest of the tree. A nice bonus is that you can use this to seal just about anything outdoors. So far, we have tried it out on planters which worked great and a small leak in the porch roof. It worked really well!! highly recommend.

Works as it should
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sealer for plants and other things comes with a clear set of directions and applications for use. I tried it on a small tree I cut back for the winter and I also used it on a few cracks in my concrete. Both applications were easy with just spraying it on and it is a decent size can that should last for a while. I feel more as ease using this now on things that I cut back to prevent infestation by bugs.

With a few small trees myself I have found this is be very useful for when it is time to tidy up the plant. It is very easy to use via spraying from a can. Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I cut dead roses from my bushes (at a sharp diagonal above a five-leaf growth), I always seal the coat with this sealant in order to stop bores from eating into and down through the stem this killing the stem however far it eats downwards. Sealant is a must!! My husband sometimes borrows it to seal places on trees where he has had to cut off a branch. It stops bugs from attacking the tree.

Didn't want to see them get sick after the chop so I used this spray and the trees look very healthy 2 weeks later. The spray hasn't worn off after several bouts of heavy rain, and there is new growth where I want it and none where I don't. Solid product, will use again.

Very important in our neighborhood to seal the cuts on the trees so ants and other bugs don't infest it. The can sprays well, no mess, super easy to use. Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for small or large cuts. We used the spray when pruning our fruit and nut trees. The rubber spray sealed the cambium layer and should keep the inner bark from molding. The spray nozzle is great and did not clog, did not spray well upside down. We used a single can on several 5 year old trees. Will repurchase and use again.

Not the easiest to apply
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did what it's supposed to do, it covers pruned limbs and trunks well. Would have given it 5 stars but, every time I used the can to apply the product to my limb it tended to gob up the spray nozzle. That required me to stop and clean the nozzle. No a huge issue but, it could be a better experience.
