Easy to install

This filter is easy to replace and a lot cheaper than having the maintenance individual replace it.

The location of this item is on the very top shelves as if they are overstock. In addition, they were boxed and the product was not visible. Even though the website identified the row and section correctly, store staff insisted this item was located with the floor model humidifiers vs the furnace humidifiers. Wait time was excessive, I eventually walked the store staff over to the row and section where the original item I was returning for another size was found.

We changed the house humidifier filter and now it’s working again. The air isn’t so dry in the house now.

Not like the original

This filter is thinner than the original filter designed for the humidifier and has the propensity to leak water past the this thinner filter into the furnace causing damage.

This size filter and brand is the one i always use for my humidifier. I like this one because of the metal net around it instead of the kind that just looks like it's made of paper. It's a good idea to buy two so half way thru the heating season you should change them out.

Will NOT fit the Model HCWP3-18!!

Although their site says it fits the Model HCWP3-18, DON'T BELIEVE IT. The dimensions they use are width/length/thickness and the HCWP3-18 requires a width of 10", length/height of 13" and a thickness of 1 1/2 inches. Simply put the WP3-18 is 10x13/1 1/2. I just wasted half a day driving there to pickup three of these only to return home to find this is one inch SHORT on the length. Drove seventy miles, round trip - what a waste of my time.
