Hard working iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I asked my mother (91) to test this iron for me, she irons everything. She liked the weight of the iron it was not to heavy to iron with but it had a good weight. She likes a sharp crisp crease and she got them with this iron. Just the right around of steam to make ever thing smooth and no wrinkles left without a lot of work. She used this iron for over a hour and give this a A+

Great basic iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We only iron a couple times a month, so this iron is perfect for us. It's heavy, but easy and secure to balance while holding. Best on sturdy clothes.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the "retro" look but it's actually great quality and much nicer looking than the plastic iron I have used for years. My plastic iron is now in the donation box and I will only be using this iron moving forward! I highly recommend this product!!!!

Bulky and leaky

Well, it was quite annoying. First off, it's really hard to see how far you've filled the iron with water. I used a measuring cup because I didn't want to fill it directly under the faucet. It comes with everything a basic iron needs with class. It heats up quickly and i love the no drip feature for when I iron with steam! It has automatic shut off which is great with kids around. I love how easy it is to use no hard complicated buttons to figure out just plain and simple .

Classic but not the original

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the simplicity of the Black and Decker "The Classic" Traditional Steam Iron. The settings are basic and easy to follow. It is heavy but since I don't have a lot to iron it is bearable. I also noticed that it glided over some clothes like my work shirts but not others like my skirts. Also I found the auto shutoff frustrating because by the time I'd adjust the item I would be ironing it had shutoff and I'd have to wait for it to heat back...

wrinkle free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using this Classic Traditional Steam Iron it has 7 different settings. The heavy duty aluminum soleplate helps with the more tougher wrinkles. I like the feel of this iron easy to use and auto shuts off when away for a few.

Great iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the number of settings I can put this iron on and the ease of usage. I like that it has an all metal finish and isn’t coated with anything that will peel and make ironing clothes messy. I like the fact that it releases quite a bit of steam when using that setting and wrinkles are removed quickly!

Classic looks, easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron does it's job well and looks great doing it. I really like how simple this is to use, easy settings for pretty much any kind of fabric. It's great at getting around buttons, it has a nice edge on the plate that makes it easy to use around any decorative designs on garments.

Great shut off feature.

Especially love the shut off feature should it be unattended for a certain amount of time. So easy to fill with water and can use as steam or just iron. Only issue some might have esp. those with arthritis..is it might be a little heavy for some to handle it but that weight also helps with pressing things.

Nice Iron

The tank is as advertised easy-fill tank. I am impressed with the pivoting cord, so no more twisting the cord as I iron.
