The problem I have is the control dial is extremely difficult for me to move to place. With arthritis it makes it even more difficult. Great no frills iron!

I'm a huge fan of anything Black and Decker so this fits nicely with the rest of my gadgets at home. Very easy to use, not complicated like others I have used

Old school

Looks and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love the look of this iron. Very retro looking but it has all the modern functions. Works great. I'm able to easily get the wrinkles out of my clothes. I love the steam function. Cord is a great length.

Sturdy Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a Classic and a good sturdy iron. Just your basic iron but works well other than it does not slide very well over fabric. I feel like it pulls on the material. The steam works good but I wish it came with a little water container to fill the iron with. It would make it easier to see the Max fill line also. Great Iron

The Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I noticed how solid this unit is compared to others. It has a little weight behind it to help with pressing. It doesn't take long to heat up. There is a good-sized water opening that is uncapped and the iron has a window to view the maximum for the water level. I like how there is a guide for heat settings based on the fabric you are using it on.

A good iron

The classic 50's look and feel of this iron is just so comfortable. It irons very well and steams clothes to perfection. The most amazing thing about this iron is the button slit. No more missing buttons or having them come off. This iron is the iron to have.

To fall in love with a classic

I know most classic steam irons are used industrially now for sewing or dry cleaning but I can't tell you how handy this came in time and time again especially for curtains and linens. I even used this to make pleats in fabric before sewing. My only wish is that it would get hotter and if by some miracle it...

Simple is best

Something simple and easy to use. I can easily touch up my clothes to give me the confident look I need to present myself to the world. The steam knocks out the wrinkles with ease.
