Failed at opening

neither of the batteries worked Lowe's said it's easier through black and Decker. Black and Decker said take it back to Lowe's. I'm fed up.

Third try, still getting 4-year old dead batteries

When the combo kit went on sale for $129, it seemed like a bargain, especially considering two batteries, alone, are close to $100. First set arrived, the batteries were dead (would not accept a charge...rapid blinking red light). Just to confirm, I tried the batteries on another Black-and-Decker charger I have (same result) and tried charging another B&D battery I have on the new charger that came...the charger worked fine. It's the batteries. They're marked as being from 2021. I get why...

Inoperable Batteries

Unpacked right after purchase and went to charge the batteries and they would not take a charge. Second set that this happened to.Black and Decker customer service is a joke. I’d suggest staying away from Black and Decker. Lowe’s was great to deal with!

Saw cuts off like power is not strong when cutting

Battery last long time and gives tools power but saw cut off during cuts like not enough power maybe got defective saw but all else is good for price and please get warranty you never know what is defective new it happens having to buy new receptacle saw cause mine got stolen but I highly recommend this product for homeowners who want to take on building projects or cutting with saw or receptacle saw you get a fair price combo and get what you pay for have a blessed life everyone!!!

Liked the fact that the 20v B&D batteries last a long time. (I've use about 8 batteries & 10 tools in my store repair department)

bought this black and decker kit 3 years ago use it all the time /love it best thing i have ever bought /thanks for building a great product /everything works great

Good value

I'm not a particular fan of BD products. I'm not a brand buyer. I have tools from pretty much all brands out there, dependent on VALUE, not the brand. The BD weed eater we bought some years ago had issues with the ball bearings, which I had to replace. Not a job for everyone, but I hate to throw things away which are still usable for the most part when they just have to be fixed. Now regarding this tool set here: Well, it's practically 3 tools plus a small led light which is worth a buck or so...

GREAT set for small jobs!

I love that I can do a small job without hiring someone with big tools. The flashlight is a useless add on. Never going to use that. But overall, a great set for many small jobs around the home.
