Would Not RecommendI bought a new B&D trimmer because the first one failed to feed after years of use. The second time out, the new one does the opposite. It has no control over feeding so I can go through an entire spool, of factory-wound line no less, in as little as 50' of trimming. Grass triggers the auto-feed. It literally just spits it out. I have a corded one that works great, but I need a cordless for the far reaches of my property. I will not be buying another B&D after this experience.

Would RecommendIt's easy to handle and manipulate. The battery provides lots of power and longevity. It does an excellent job of clearing away weeds, overgrowth and edges sidewalks and such very well, indeed. My only sticking point is that assembling the black plastic safety guard required several attempts as it didn't slide into position easily to be screwed into place. I finally had to take a mallet to it and tap it in.
