What Customers Are Saying
The cordless trimmer offers good power and cutting ability for small to medium-sized yards. It is lightweight and easy to use, making it suitable for a variety of users. However, the battery life may be limited, especially for larger jobs, and the assembly and instructions can be challenging. While the trimming performance is generally strong, the edging capabilities are not as robust for some customers. Overall, it provides a solid cordless option with a balance of quality and affordability.

The instructions are useless. There are pictures with no words. There are only a few steps but they are unclear and the plastic piece almost broke off. Italked very unclear how to thread the string and it’s not really something I want to guess at.

Great product for the price. Very durable trimmer.
Would RecommendThis my second black and decker trimmer. The first still working great after years! Just has not made it back from my daughter barrowed. LOL! Do fully charge first. Unplug then charge again till fukky charged. This will ensure a great battery life.

Go Black & Decker
Would RecommendThe best ever and I have researched and asked my neighbors. This trimmer's battery lasted longer than 20 min. on first charge and I was able to get my complete yard done. Best Value, great product and fantastic price.
Short battery and string life
Would Not RecommendI like that is battery powered, lightweight and the handle is adjustable. I don’t like that the battery only lasts bout 15 minutes. Also unless you hold the power down the entire time, bits of string are flying around because it’s cut every time the weed wacker is turn on- I have little cuts from this and the string only lasted for two uses. Definitely wear eye protection and maybe I’m doing something wrong ???
Light-weight, performs well
Would RecommendI bought this over a year ago and it is still going. I did have to buy an extra battery, but i have a bigger yard. I definitely would recommend this.

Great for Small Yards
Would RecommendI purchased this B&D trimmer when I lived in the city and had a small yard. It was lightweight, quiet enough, no vibration, and I loved it because it did what I needed it to do. The battery lasted about 30 minutes. I moved to the country and the first thing I noticed was the single weedeater line it had was not enough for what I needed on a bigger job.
Great Trimmer!
Would RecommendThis is my 4th Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger in the past 19 years, and my 2nd of this model. All of them have worked great. They're light weight, and perfect for my yard.

Disappointed
Would Not RecommendThis trimmer only lasted me two seasons. I contacted Black and Decker today and was informed there isn't a replacement motor for this model. I informed the CSA what a disappointment that is to have Black and Decker making throw away products. All replacement parts should be available, but not this particular model.
First Weedeater/hedger I've used
Would RecommendI bought this yesterday and it is a pretty good trimmer. It does everything I need it to. I would have given it 5 stars but the battery dies after about 30 Minutes and takes several hours to charge. However, I didn't rate it lower because I have very thick grass. It's lightweight which is good for me and works well for what I need.
Awful assembly
Would Not RecommendComing from a mechanical engineer, the assembly of the handle is too extremely difficult. There is an easier way to assemble the handle rather than bending and shoving plastic.

Wish it was original one
Would RecommendThis is a good trimmer but an just ok edger. It uses a lot of string.
