Easy to switch sheets, comfortable to use and great price

Easy to use

Used everywhere getting ready for my new home. Walls? Yep. Refinishing a dresser? Yep. Jagged edges on the mantle? Yep. I'm not very tool savvy, and this was very easy to use.

Great small project sander

Perfect size for your hands. Easy to use and catches a lot of the dust.

Hand sander is super convenient

This sander is very controllable, super easy to use and convenient. Does a wonderful job for both large and small. Perfect size for the palm of anyone's hands.

Horrible

My sanders after 3 months of having stopped working. This is horrible. I understand you get what you pay for, but for this sander to not last a year.

Palm actuated Paddle Switch is a great feature

This is my second B&D 1/4 sheet sander. The first one lasted over 5 years of average use. The bearing which is located in the bottom platen gave way. Cost of the platen is more than 50 % cost of the machine and hence I had to buy a completely new Sander. I like the feature of palm actuated paddle switch on the new Sander. The machine is robust and easy to handle.

Absolutely recommended!

Look no further, don’t even consider other brands. This is more compact and has greater speed and power then models priced more expensively. Really is an incredible tool. I am completely satisfied.

First time user

This is the first time I have used a sheet sander. It is easy to use and compact so that I can tuck it away in my craft room.

Fantastic sander!!!!!!

I bought this sander about a year ago I loved it so much that I bought another one just recently. One of the best standers had ever purchased. The panel locking in the on position is one of the greatest things ever.

Good for the price

Worked this thing hard for several straight hours sanding sheetrock mud. Held up without a problem. I burned out two other sanders, one of them being brand new. Bought it the same day it quit on me. Black and Decker seems to be taking a back seat to newer brands, But they have been around a long time still making quality products.

Did the job!

Bought this B&D sander to complete a couple of items on my wife's "Honey Do" list. They were too heavy for light hand-sanding and this light weight sander was strong enough to complete the job(s) in short order, with the least amount of clean up.

Works as it should

This is perfect for my crafting needs. Easy to use and attach the sand paper. Used several times and have not had any issues yet.

Needed it for a simple job on an expanded door. Got it done super quick and easy. Loved the vacuum aspect for minor cleanup
