When I read the reviews on this, they are excellent. So I bought one, and it did just like the one before it collected my dog's hair on the hose.The base of the hose, about six inches of it that goes into the machine. Would RecommendI'm embarrassed to admit that we had one room go six years without vacuuming.. until today. (The rest of the house is hardwood.) I did not want to spend too much on a vacuum that wouldn't see much use, but I also wanted one that wouldn't die trying to make up for procrastinating so long.
