Not good for winter
After you buy it, and read the manual, it says it is not recommended for winter temperatures.....but, that’s when we have the fewest daylight hours...so, it’s a light that the manufacturer suggests you don’t use when you need it the most...

Would RecommendDon't let the "As Seen on TV" label lure you to thinking this is junk. I need exterior lighting at the rear of my house and this works perfectly. It soaks up the sun by day and then will shine, at excellent brightness, until sunrise. Illuminates a large area and costs $0 to operate. Not a twinkle accent light..its straight out of "Hogan's Heroes", a bright spot light and you can adjust its three sets of lights to where you want them to shine. The whole thing is pretty small, a little bigger than a basketball, but put out a lot of light. I put in my back yard and it can light up and sense anything in the yard (maybe 40x40 foot area). The motion sensor works at about a 45 degree to either side in front of it, so it still needs to be roughly facing the movement, but works well on a wall or entrance. Bright and convenient
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is easy to assemble and can be placed either mounted on a surface or secured into the ground with the steak provided. I chose to place it in the front flower bed so that when movement is detected it shines into the front yard. I am very pleased.

Amazingly bright and flexible illumination
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fitted the Bell and Howell Floodlight inside my garden gate where I keep my trash cans. It was always a problem putting out the trash after dark and I usually resorted to wearing a flashlight headband which was always being misplaced. The floodlight illuminates all 4 trashcans perfectly as soon as I walk through the gate with wide and controllable beams of light, and I no longer have any problems with my trash.
