Would RecommendBought one of these about two weeks ago to light up a dark corner of the walkway leading up to my house, The LEDs provide bright light, with beam direction easily adjustable; the motion sensor detects movement out to about 8-10 feet. Subrtracted one star as the ground mounting stake and rod seem rather flimsy for the top-heavy lighting unit, so long-term durability may be an issue.
Not Weatherproof As Advertised
Would Not RecommendOn the box this item says it is weatherproof. On the way home I read the installation instructions and it is suggested to uninstall during the winter months as it will likely get damaged if left out in freezing temperatures and snow. I purchased this in October in Michigan. I immediately put everything back in the box and will be returning on my next trip to Lowes.
