What Customers Are Saying
The compression fitting is generally effective and easy to use for various plumbing and water line applications. Many customers found it to be a good quality, affordable solution that worked as expected. The fitting was described as easy to install and providing a secure, leak-free connection. However, some customers reported issues with the product not working as advertised, particularly when used with certain types of tubing. There were also problems with the compression sleeve being integrated into the nut, causing leaks and requiring additional effort to get a proper seal. Customers should carefully verify compatibility with their specific setup and be prepared to potentially need additional components to get a reliable connection.

Would Not RecommendDoes not work with plastic lines. The ferrell is part of the nut and does not crush enough. It's listed as compatible, but it's not. Back to the drawing board.
Don't Purchase - Many Connections will Leak
Would Not RecommendThe brass compression sleeve is attached to the compression nut instead of being a separate independent sleeve. This built-in lack of flexibility resulted in several connections leaking, which then required cutting the tubing and trying again. Cost extra time and money to complete a simple project.

Compression fitting nut
Would RecommendUsed this brass compression nut with a matching brass ferule ring to attach a tube to a plumbing fixture. Tightened firmly. Tip: coat the ferule and threads with Oatey pipe dope before tightening. Old plumbers trick to make tighten easier and leak free.
